L’école - Lecteurs débutants - French reader cut and paste This set of five RÉSOUS-LE / SOLVE THE SENTENCE hands-on puzzle activities will keep your primary French students engaged while learning to read by putting words together to form sentences. This set follows a school theme and includes sight words (mots fréquents) for first and second grade. In addition to having fun while reading, students will be challenged and develop reasoning skills while solving each of the 5 puzzles. They will feel such a sense of pride and accomplishment every time they get to color in a computer screen on the progress chart. This lesson is meant for students who have already learned how to form the subjunctive. The purpose of this lesson is to see the subjunctive being used with conjunctions in meaningful context (a story), and to practice using the cards provided with an answer key. This no prep activity is perfect for small groups or centers. You can also use one card per page version to project and make it a whole class activity. These speaking cards are perfect for primary English. You can easily use these cards as a review with ESL students at any level also. Included: 100 speaking prompt cards There are many ways you can use this set of 100 speaking cards: ➤ Print, laminate, cut out, punch holes & attach on a ring for small groups to ask and answer questions. ➤ Use as a warm-up speaking activity with a conversation buddy. Looking for easy prep literacy activities for independent work during differentiated reading instruction? This version of the game is for practicing AVOIR EXPRESSIONS and PRESENT TENSE CONJUGATIONS. Each of the 7 “families of cards” begins with one of the following, and conjugations in the present tense are used in the JE - TU - IL - NOUS - VOUS - ILS forms. 7 different avoir expressions are used: J’ai + expression Je n’ai pas + expression Est-ce que j’ai + expression Includes: How to play 42 playing cards to print on heavy paper or card stock This card game is an excellent way to practice and memorize verb conjugations. It will have your students speaking to each other in French the whole time! They will make affirmative and negative statements and will use EST-CE QUE to form simple questions. One player distributes five cards to each player (2 to 4 per group). The rest of the cards are placed in the “pioche”. One player begins the game by asking another player to give him a card. He or she might say, “Est-ce que tu as froid?” The goal is to come up with complete families. The different verbs represent the families. There are 6 cards to a family (JE - TU - IL - NOUS- VOUS - ILS). Students will find it helpful to group together the cards that have the same picture at the top (flower, flip-flops, etc.) If the player doesn’t have it, he says “pioche”. If he draws the card that he asked for, he can continue to play and ask someone for another card. Each time a player comes up with all six members of a family, he can make a stack. At the end of the game, the player with the most sets of families wins!
